The authors and illustrators listed in this booklet are PAL members, as designated by

SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) for author and illustrator

members who are Published And Listed; that is, published by a traditional press.

Self-published members are not eligible for PAL status until they publish a book with a

traditional press.

This list will be updated three times a year. If you have a book published by a PAL publisher and want to include your information on the list, contact Jessica Young, our Midsouth PAL List Contact, at smoungs@yahoo.com . Three times a year, Jessica will compile the information submitted to her and send it to Becky Ziemer, the PAL List Designer, who will add the new information.

The three times for updating will occur in March, July, and October. You'll need to send your information to Jessica before the last week of any of those months for inclusion in the next update of the PAL List. It may take Becky a couple of weeks to prepare those updates so expect your information to appear on the PAL List a few weeks after the update deadline at the end of those months.
